Bloodsong Wins!

Bloodsong takes first in the Second Life Snail races! 12-29-07

It was a close race and he suffered one fall that made him fall back to the second place spot in the heats. Just as the racers approached the finish line Bloodsong took first place right to the end and finished first in the second heat.

Going on to compete in the finals where he raced fast and hard holding first and finally bring home the gold! Congrats Bloodsong and a great win!

It's that time of year again when the snow begins to fall and the cool air surrounds us bringing friends, families, and lovers just a little closer. Even in a virtual world connected through wires and chips the snow will fall and Santa will visit! To find out more we welcome all of the artists of The Art Door to join us at Rendervisions Isle town hall in Second Life on Sunday November 25th at 12pm SL/PST . Marketplace is officially closed

We, at the Art Door continue to supply our members with features they want and strive to meet the demands of the ever growing community. The Marketplace had been one of those features, but through the years we have found that through lack of interest by members and lack of desire on our part to be art dealers rather then artists, we no longer have reason to provide this service. We look forward to seeing your art in our galleries, comments and questions in our forums, while providing a place where artists from all backgrounds can learn and grow together both as individuals and as a community.

We are proud to announce the opening of Rendervisions Isle!

The island is 64,000 meters (16 arcs) of lush grass set into a 17-18th century themed feel.
So far the Town hall, merchants row, and park are complete
and we are still growing, and building each day.

Special thanks to the following people for their extraordinary efforts in helping to build,
shape, and landscape our virtual environment, giving
the Art Door community a place to live, work and grow together.

Island Design- Cobalt Dragon (Cobalt) collaborative efforts in design with Enchanting_Mirage (Wynd)

Island creation- Cobalt, through the use of designing and construction the (.RAW) that became our island.

Zoning- Wynd, Cherry

Park Design and creation- collaborative design and constructions efforts Cobalt & Briggie (Bri). King Kyle (Kayle) for creating the sundial in the park, Shellmoon (Sabryne) for pedestrian bridge design and build
